By using a custom mag wire and winding spec, combined with alnico 2 bar magnet, Seymour Duncan was able to recreate the familiar sustain, crunch, and midrange that was so characteristic of the tone of Slash's original Derrig Les Paul copy. These pickups were originally designed in the '80s and voiced for use as the
