The rod is in excellent original condition. Dark tempered cane, the wraps are chestnut brown with purple tips. Dark red, gold and purple tipping at the winding check and male ferrules. The grip is well soiled but smooth and free of any defects. Up locking screw lock reel seat with Payne's standard Spanish cedar spacer. The stamp on
