MUFFS - Really Really Happy LP 50-60s is pressed on 180g vinylPop songs lined up for miles. It's a fun ride. Kim Shattuck is either rock's angriest optimist or its happiest pessimist. Either way, she's a charmer. Her songs have always been wise, simple and good at getting right to the point of trashing some fool who deserves it or venting about a bad day. If you ask me, she's getting even better at all of that. The title track here is one of the band's best, a happy song that isn't corny or cloying for a moment.
