The desert forms are yet to be saturated by the setting sun, but are soft and subtle. I used a limited palette to celebrate the harmonious range of blue greens, blues, oranges, and a beautiful range of neutral hues. It is spring and the water flows well; a subtle high tide mark from the mountain run off is visible along the bank's edge.
