For sale here is a very rare and true-LHW reel made by Dingley during his association with the Walker Bampton shop

For sale here is a spare spool only for a Charlton 8500 Signature Series 1

It differs from my later rods by the following two details: there is a wooden lip on the reel seat where it meets the rear of the grip and the wraps are a slightly darker shade of red then the current "may rose" color that I would later settle on (with edges that are also slightly darker)

The reel and spare spool are in near mint condition, with just a few tiny marks indicating that it has ever seen any use. Gold anodizing with the famous stacked wedding cake design. Serial #491. These #1 Wedding Cakes are very hard to find as I believe no more than 600 were ever made. The reel comes in a non original suede zipper pouch (the spare spool has no pouch).
