In the insulin regimen analysis, the proportion of patients with any on-treatment AE was somewhat higher in the patients receiving oral semaglutide added to basal-bolus insulin (8287%) than among those receiving oral semaglutide plus basal (6582%) or premixed (6980%) insulin, but no such trend was evident in the incidence of gastrointestinal or serious AEs, or in those leading to trial product discontinuation (see Table S2 in the Supplementary Information)
