Theres a level balance of creatures and spells, a decent mix of mana fixing with the lands in the set and plenty of unique decks to create depending on which legendary creatures you pull in a draft or sealed to build around

It's the right call for a world people are already invested in, and while I wasn't one of the people who disliked Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon (I actually loved the Lovecraftian twist), I get why it failed to meet some peoples' expectations

So its just as useful whether youre storing cards in the home or carrying them out to play
