Im taking an early look at the set and how it plays, and Ill be updating this review over the course of the next few months to see how these Magic cards make their way into all the constructed formats and to see how it plays in a limited environment

There are two starter decks available for Disney Lorcana: Into the Inklands

Matzalantli, the Great Door / The Core Listed at: $3.5 Matzalantli, the Great Door is a draw and discard engine to help you get the resources you need and get rid of what you dont need from your hand

Immediately afterward, it ceases to exist and cant be interacted with further (you can't resurrect an artifact token, for example)

However, having it on the field enables you to cast spells as though they had Flash

These cards are mechanically identical to their Magic-universe equivalents, and even mention the card they're based on by name to prevent you from running more than four of any printing of them in the same deck
