Hes not bad in a control deck, but the double white is awkward, and hes competing with a lot of other powerful 3 mana plays well discuss later

The power level of this set is quite immense, potentially more powerful than MH2, and all the cards mentioned today have the ability to impact the meta substantially

3 Nether Void Like other cards on this list, Nether Void is disliked because it prevents players from casting cards altogether

I think damage based removal sees a bit of a usage drop in Commander because the general power of creatures is higher compared to other formats, so things going above that 5-damage sweet spot happens reasonably often

Base-Fossil lends itself well to the Stall archetype, since the damage output is low comparatively to the HP of the format
