Here are some common creatures I really like blocking with: Black: Deathcap Marionette, Echo of Dusk, Primordial Gnawer Green: Basking Capybara, Poison Dart Frog, Mineshaft Spider, Pathfinding Axejaw Blue: Cogwork Wrestler, Waterwind Scout, Didact Echo, Frilled Cave-Wurm All of these creatures trade with creatures that cost more mana than them and/or generate some kind of immediate value when I play them
However, the deck ramps decently fast, and if they use their exile/remove cards on TP, then you have Wrenn, Dourbark, and Verdeloth to perhaps clutch out a nice standard trample victory
There's just so much library searching in EDH, whether from tutors, fetch lands, or forced searchs off cards like Field of Ruin
The art is amazing, as always, and the play factor of the cards is a lot of fun
This faerie doesnt provide many other benefits outside of this strategy
Its another example of a rare One Piece card only distributed at tournaments, which means its hard to find out in the wild
