I like this as a straight-forward midrange commander

The card quality and tutor effects are simply much more mana efficient so unless the combo deck has alternate uses for the specific draw spell such as a discard outlet or recursion effect it will avoid the latter in preference for the former

Even with Archmage's Charm filling its role in Eternal formats, the command is still worth including in tons of blue EDH decks

In addition to the themed boosters, Ravnica: Clue Edition comes with a pack of 21 predetermined suspect, weapon, and room cards and just like in Clue, one set of those is secretly put in an envelope at the start of the match, while the others are divided randomly amongst all the players
