Chronicles is the classic example of this problem in action, as it was an overprinted reprint set that destroyed the value of cards for years
2000 Wizards wasn't interested in making Mood Swings , but I knew it was a good game, so I kept fiddling with it
anything more than that will only serve to prolong the game needlessly
Ramp can appear in different shapes and forms: Land-Based Ramp (Cultivate, Rampant Growth) Mana Dorks (Llanowar Elves, Bugenhagen, Wise Elder) Mana Rocks (Mind Stone, Basalt Monolith) Treasure-Makers and other artifact token producers (Smothering Tithe, Sarinth Greatwurm) Extra land drops (Exploration, Exploration Broodship) Land Recursion (Crucible of Worlds, Aftermath Analyst) Rituals (Dark Ritual, Mana Geyser) Cost Reduction (Honest Rutstein, Stormcatch Mentor) Eldrazi Spawn & Scion producers (Eldrazi Skyspawner, Kozilek's Predator) Mana Doublers (Mirari's Wake, Groundchuck & Dirtbag) Temporary mana abilities (firebending) This ranking will cover many of these forms of ramp, but will leave some more specific ones like Treasure-makers to their own separate list
(To scry 2, look at the top two cards of your library, then put any number of them on the bottom and the rest on top in any order.)
