Lovely Old Hand Soldered Brass Dodecahedron cinnabar and brass vase though I have not found

though I have not found another in this blue and peachy yellow glaze combo

All are in good condition with no chips or cracks or losses

Overall: 7" x 6 5/8" x 1/2" Recess on the back is 5" x 4 3/4" with 4 5/8" x 4 3/8" visibility from front

There is a surface crease at upper left on front but it is not a true crease--there is no sign of it on reverse

Lovely Old Hand Soldered Brass Dodecahedron cinnabar and brass vase though I have not foundThe seller I purchased this from thought it may have been made as a practice or test piece by a metalworker long ago, which seems plausible to me; it was clearly made from one piece of brass, with a wonderfully imperfect seam where the edges were soldered together. (It is hollow inside.) Whatever the case, certainly it was done by hand and I believe has quite a bit of age to. To me it is satisfying in the way that antique geometric solid blocks are,
