This circa 1935 fixed check reel was made for Mills by Julius vom Hofe. It has the hard rubber side plates with an aluminum raised pillar frame, and nickel silver cross pillars, screws, half handle, and foot. The foot on this unmarked reel has not been shortened, but one end is slightly bent. There are no cracks or chips in the hard rubber, nor repairs or missing parts. It is an honest
