I'm not sure if it ever had another purpose though it could certainly be used to keep a few needles from getting lost. I can't help it, I have to bring home little things like this, which someone so lovingly cut of two pieces of baby blue leather, hand stitched together with a little stuffing inside, and gave a poof of white tail. 2 5 8" t.
