Aesculus flava 'Vestita' Wind An elegant maple with anThis cultivar is a clone of A. flava f. vestita from the NAKB in The Netherlands. It was taken from a tree in the Zuiderpark (The Hague, NL). It grows into a medium sized tree with a wide conical crown that becomes spherical with age. It can reach 18 m or even 25 m in height. The leaves are palmate with 5 or 7 leaflets, 15 cm across, and dark green. They are not very hairy underneath, unlike the typical A. flava f. vestita. They turn yellow violet in
