This unglazed clay woman has some of that aspect to her for sure, and was definitely made by an amateur, maybe a young student. But I also find her rather elegant, and wonderfully posed poised with those slab like legs feet revealed at the end of her skirt making it feel as though she's very firmly grounded and forever planted,
