Sweet Little Set of Wooden Alphabet Blocks trompe l'oieul as if standing silently byWhat I especially like about this old set of little wooden blocks is the subtlety of the embossed letters on them, just a shade lighter than the blocks themselves, and also how much the font used reminds me of antique cut bone letters, which from what I understand were an early took for teaching spelling in school.
