The goal is to get the three metal rings around the beak of the duck

plus a very sweet bunny and lone sheep

Its black bottom is a bit of a mystery--I think there was once a black pad adhered to the underside

I've found a few others of these mid century brass dachshund bottle openers out there, often, understandably, attributed to Walter Bosse, but I've learned he was not in fact the maker. Terrific form, nice weight in the hand, a pleasure to use makes one want to crack a bottle open just to use it, and great on the bar the rest of the time. 4 1 8" l x 5 8" w x 3 4" t and in very good vintage condition.
