Made to hold a 5 or 6 weight line plus plenty of backing

Bogdan Model 2 Fly Reel - LHW Vintage Fly Tackle as seen in the photosFor sale here is a near mint condition Bogdan Model 2 Salmon fly reel in left hand wind. There is some slight tarnish on the nickel silver counterbalance from age alone and handling, definitely not scratches from use. This is all that prevents the reel from being in mint condition. It comes with the original suede case. Reel appears to have never been mounted on a rod since I cannot find any marks to the reel foot. The drag is still extremely strong
