Rococo Carved Gilt Mirror in the Manner of Chippendale carved base resting on a single turnedA superb carved and gilded rococo looking glass in the manner of John Linnell, crested by double s scrolls holding an acanthus spray, the frame held by c and s scrolls larded with carved leaves and rocaille with numerous plate glasses bordering the two central plates. An imposing and extraordinary rococo frame. Glass is 18th century but not original. Ht; 76", W. 38. 5", D. 6" With restorations to the gilding.
