This stunning whisky was distilled on the 28th of April 2009 then matured for a minimum of 12 years in an ex bourbon cask, #1783. Bottling was in June 2002 at a strength of 46% abv. The peated Laphroaig spirit is a great match for bourbon cask maturation. The resulting whisky has a robust peat smokiness, medicinal notes enveloped by a vanilla sweetness. Discover more great
