I believe it is a boy at left in blue skirt and marvelously striped socks, and likely his sister beside him in pink dress. Terrific details everywhere, from the cross around her neck and lace collar, cuffs and hem, to the pocket on his shirt and plaid bow tie. But best of all their wide, chubby looking faces, his (again, I believe) reminding me of
