As Found: Lovely c. 1870s Set of Bone Game Pegs with Handwritten (in French) Solitaire Instructions and Score Cards hanging clip with a little staining toI found these bone pegs just like this, stashed in one side of the wooden box included in photos, with the pale blue paper and handwritten scoring cards folded up and stuck in to the other. And they may just have sat there just like that since the 1870s. 1874 appears on the face of the scoring cards, which look to have been cut down from printed tickets for a lecture sermon by Charles Jean Marie Loyson (18271912), better known by his religious name
